whether you need a brief one page "business card," or resume page, a simple four page online "brochure," an office intranet, a weblog or a site about your favorite Tolkien character, we've got the skills and experience to design, build and/or maintain it for you.

if you need a new site we can work with you to develop the best kind of site to suit your needs and the needs of those who'll use your site.  if you have an existing site which is in need of a major overhaul or just some minimal updates, we can take care of it.

we can work with your site whether it's hosted here on our servers or on the servers of another hosting company.

if you're a web design company in need of some extra hands on a contract basis for a large project, we may be available for hire.

if you have an existing site which is in need of a one-time update or updates on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly or yearly basis, we can take care of it for you.

normally, to balance your needs with those of our other clients, we'll work on your site 1 to 3 hours per weekday, depending on our current workload.  this means, for example, our eta for a simple 6 page brochure site would be about one week, the eta for a site we estimate to take 15 hours would be about two weeks etc.  if you need your site done faster, we can do it, but we'll have to work overtime to make it happen, so we'll charge you accordingly as follows...
1/3 faster
(e.g. 6 day eta becomes 4 day eta)
$150/hr
twice as fast
(e.g. 14 day eta becomes 7 day eta)
$200/hr
emergency
(we reschedule all other projects to
focus solely on yours, plus overtime)
$500/hr

20% discount available with proof of 501c3 non-profit status.

how the billing works
we'll ask that you pay half of the estimated cost in advance.  the second half of your payment will be due when the site is completed or when the initial estimate time has been reached, whichever comes first.  if we're working beyond our initial estimate, whether due to our incorrect estimate or due to content or features you requested after the initial estimate was given, we'll ask that you make another payment at the end of each five hour chunk of additional work.  discussions regarding needs, structure, options and possibilities for your website are part and parcel of the web design process and will be billed even if you decide not to move ahead with the project.

* Pricing may be flexible when business is slow, please ask.  we've set our rates just below the median range for rates found during our research of other web design companies.  surprisingly we found that many outfits refuse to publish their rates at all.  a cautionary note about some of the the very low too-good-to-be-true rates you'll see:  in this industry, as in any other, you get what you pay for.

** the estimates are just that.  your site may require more or less time than the estimate.  we're very ethical and fair and are more likely to undercharge than overcharge.  we want you to be happy so you'll suggest us to your friends and colleagues.  padding your bill with unworked hours is something we'll never do, we'll leave that to law firms ;).  we use project timing/tracking software for all our projects and will happily provide you with the logs if you like.
